Artwork Distribution with myFactory Stump Printing Co, Inc. (South Whitney, IN) –
myFactory® – the Automation Server – helps distribute artwork for the Stump Printing Company. Over a hundred vendor folders are watched for various types of artwork. Whenever a file is dropped into a vendor folder, that vendor's email address is automatically extracted from a database along with some preference settings. Depending on how the vendor's database record is configured, the file may be compressed and emailed to them immediately, or may be put on hold until a specified time when all files are batch compressed and emailed, or it may be printed directly to a printer for conventional delivery. These files are then moved into an "old" folder and a log of all activity is appended. The activity log is automatically emailed to specified employees nightly for review. Also, any errors that occur during the processing of files is emailed to specified employees immediately.
